European Conference on Quality in Official Statistics - Q2012,

This is a call for statisticians to participate in the upcoming European
Conference on Quality in Official Statistics - Q2012, in Athens, Greece, on
30 May - 1 June 2012, organized by the Hellenic Statistical Authority
(ELSTAT) and Eurostat.

The Q2012 Conference will offer participants a unique platform for
high-level discussions on various types of quality issues and methodological
aspects of statistical production. Q2012 will in particular focus on
improving quality by the re-engineering of statistical systems and the
innovations in the area of quality.

The Conference will be preceded by five one-day training courses on 29 May
2011.

The Q-Conferences started in 2001 and so far, five Conferences have taken
place:
Q2001 Stockholm, Q2004 Mainz, Q2006 Cardiff, Q2008 Rome and Q2010 Helsinki.

Statisticians of all disciplines are encouraged to take a look at the list
of topics and submit an abstract for evaluation. The Programme Committee of
the Q2012 Conference will select the papers that will be presented at the
Conference on the basis of these abstracts.

The deadline for submitting the abstracts is 15 November 2011. Please send
