Date:

Wednesday, February 19, 2014, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Location:

CGIS S-354 1730 Cambridge St.

Surveys are a special research tool with strengths, weaknesses, and a language all of their own.  This structured tutorial sponsored by the Harvard Program on Survey Research is geared toward honors thesis authors in the social sciences who are using survey data in their theses. Topics include approaches to explaining survey designs using appropriate technical terms, addressing potential strengths and limitations of data, and anticipating (and answering) questions readers might have about a study.

Chase Harrison, Preceptor in Survey Research, is also available by individual appointment for students with special questions about survey design.  He can be contacted at charrison@hbs.edu
